Until now ‘game improvement’ technology meant bigger. PING have created a breakthrough in design that means you’ll really like what you see.

Looks like an iron for better strikers

So, how do you provide more forgiveness and a higher MOI, in an iron that’s got a smaller blade, thinner topline, and
less offset.

You start with a more flexible, free-moving face that amplifies ball speeds. A higher launch is created by a hinging effect at impact, which allows the loft to be strengthened for even faster ball speeds.

Then, rather than creating a ‘larger head’, the weight is concentrated via inserts into the toe and hosel. That expands the hitting area by 10%.

“Some years ago, in the search for added distance, the manufacturers started to strengthen lofts. A stronger loft meant a faster ball speed, but it also meant a flatter trajectory and less spin, so stopping a #7 iron on the green became difficult. This was called “loft-jacking” in the industry.”

“The PING G410 #7 Iron has a stronger loft than previous #7 irons, but the new face technology creates a hinging effect. The result is that the ball launches off the face with BOTH the trajectory you want AND the spin rate you’d expect. You’re going further with no loss of stopping power.”
